Students and teachers are back in the classroom. Books, pencils, markers and supplies are ready, but there is so much more involved than the right color notebook ... like these science supplies for PreK students to study the life cycle of plants and butterflies. Nettie & Friends provided dirt (okay, soil), tools, seeds, and plants so PreK students could explore and learn about where their food comes from and how it grows.
This is what Nettie & Friends does. We provide the tools for teachers that fall outside of the regular school budget to help their students understand and experience their world.
What do these boring tubs have to do with anything?
Maxfield has one of the highest rates of homeless students in the district. Through your support, we maintain a uniform closet so every student is ready for the school day. We also provide clean underwear and socks, because, sometimes, the unexpected happens and a student needs a change of clothes at school.
Watch for news of our December Sale of the Season
at the Egg & I in St. Paul.
Thank you for everything you do to support
students and teachers at Maxfield School.
